About the Course
Take two days out in the stunning natural landscapes of Wales to develop your photography skills. Based at Margam Discovery Centre.
This weekend will give participants all the skills and knowledge required for successful nature and landscape photography. This course will look at all aspects of nature photography including close-up and landscape work. With the autumn in full flow we will be getting close to fungi, experimenting with the camera and making the most of the woodland colour at Margam Country Park. We will be following the deer rut with some real wildlife photography - be prepared, you will get dirty so please wear old clothes. Please note that the course is best suited for those with SLR cameras with a telephoto facility. Digital processing and editing, and getting the best from your images on the computer using Photoshop CS3 will be covered in the evening sessions.
Paul Richards is a retired countryside manager and keen wildlife photographer. He has achieved distinctions in photography at the highest level and won gold medals in national and international salons. Paul was shortlisted in the 2010 British Wildlife Photography Awards.
