This course is an ideal follow up to my beginners or improvers courses. Self catering accommodation is available in our historic, beautifully renovated ‘Weaver’s Cottage’ on the farm (sleeps 4). Crickhowell offers a number of pubs and restaurants for your evening meal if you want a treat, or you can just stay on the farm to enjoy peace, tranquillity and beautiful scenery.
I am a qualified tutor and assessor in the lifelong learning sector and have many years experience of running practical courses. I also undertake spinning and weaving commissions for clients who wish to have fleece from their flocks hand spun into yarn or woven into cloth. I am passionate about promoting our wonderful British sheep breeds for their fleece, and when not spinning and weaving I assist on the farm and during the summer months show our Clun Forest and Zwartbles sheep at the larger agricultural shows in Wales and the Midlands.
