Art Nouveau Spring Flowers make it your own hand embroidery kit

X

Description

Art Nouveau Spring Flowers is part of the Make It Your Own Embroidery range of kits. It is inspired by the Art Nouveau period and features the classic whiplash curve, flowers and graceful stems. Make It Your Own kits are different to most on the market - they encourage you to unleash your creativity to make a unique piece of textile art rather than a replica of the image on the box. The choice of stitches and threads to use is yours completely - although there are lots of hints, tips and stitch instructions to help you along the way. Advanced level kits go one step further to enable you to create unique and personal textile art - there is a choice of some elements to add. For Art Nouveau Spring Flowers the choice of the flower head is yours to make. The design is printed onto the fabric, with the exception of the flower heads. Included in the box is a set of very easy to use templates and instructions on how to transfer the flower heads to the fabric. This results in a piece of textile art as unique as you are.

I am a textile artist, tutor and community arts practitioner. I live on the North East Coast and work from my studio and gallery in Saltburn by the Sea. My artwork is inspired by people; their relationships and memories - I am to create a snapshot in time. I have taught a range of workshops for many years. My aim is for students to leave with a wealth of new knowledge, having created something unique to them. Workshops focus on exploration, experimenting with techniques and having fun.
