The basics will be covered such as choice and use of materials, sketching, drawing and painting using accurate observation with imaginative or semi-abstract approaches. Each class will be fun and supportive with its own theme, using a mixture of demos and instruction, taking inspiration from both man-made and natural subjects.

Tutor Steve Bretel has spent over 15 years as a creative arts facilitator and .fine artist across the UK, after a successful commercial art career in London. Studying widely at Duncan of Jordanstone, Edinburgh college of art, and theatre design in Glasgow, Steve was a professional member of the Society of Industrial Artists & Designers (SIAD) and holds a BA in Visual Communication
