About the Course

Join us for this creative workshop where you can upcycle, recycle and reuse pieces of fabric and small bits and bobs (coins, screws, keys, bits of wood, wallpaper scraps, paperclips, matchsticks etc).

You will learn how to use Powertex to sculpt fabric into beautiful individual works of art.
You'll make a stunning creation unique to you, they make great gifts (if you can bear to part with them).

At this workshop we will be creating individual A6 notebooks.

What is Powertex?

Powertex is an environmentally friendly water-based liquid sculpting medium.
Powertex air dries but warm air from a blow dryer or radiator accelerates the drying time and it is weatherproof after 3 weeks.

Hands can be cleaned with warm water and soap although disposable gloves will be available. Aprons are provided to protect your clothing, however we recommend wearing old clothes as once dry Powertex will not come out of fabric.

Powertex has undergone extensive testing and has been awarded the AP Seal and meets the highest European and American safety standards.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All the equipment and instruction is provided although if you have any bits and bobs you want to bring for that added personal touch you are very welcome to.
