Aromatherapy & Essential Oils Workshop.

You can choose 1, 2, or 3 of these series of fabulous workshops held in The Black Barn here in Hasketon under the expert leadership of our Guest Tutor: Laura Hoy. Choose your favourite one on any of these dates and contact us for more details.

1.Botanical Soap Making
Discover the joy of making your own soap, learn about the botanical ingredients and take home your techniques that you can use to design your own future recipes.
Having an appreciation for the natural ingredients, understanding where they come from and their precious qualities will inspire us all to bring a whole new level of cherishing to our everyday skin care rituals.
During the workshop you will make a batch of soap which can be taken home to use.

2.Botanical Balm
Make your own nourishing balm with a range of the finest quality organic botanical ingredients, including essential oils. Discover how they can support a range of health conditions and feel confident to design a product that nurtures your personal wellbeing.
You will be introduced to a range of botanical ingredients, as well as spending some time becoming familiar with an array of essential oils, their incredible scents and their health and wellbeing properties, leaving you confident to design an effective product, tailored to your personal needs.
A balm can range from being soft, so that it melts on your skin to massage into your whole body, it can have a more solid consistency to use to protect your lips, or something in-between to massage into aching muscles and joints. It could be designed to take care of your hands, for rubbing across your chest when you have a cold or cough, as a cleanser for your face and even as a base for a solid perfume. You can choose what type of product you would like to make and learn how to use the ingredients to adapt it to your need as well as enhancing it with suitable essential oils.

3.Plant to Perfume
Make your own unique and completely natural, organic oil perfume, with the finest quality organic essential oils. Experience and learn about the aromatic ingredients, where they come from and how they can support health and well-being in this practical, sensual workshop.
Cases of skin sensitivities seem to be increasing and many perfumes can feel quite harsh to use on your skin, so choosing a more natural, gentle option is part of the inspiration behind this workshop. Despite the array of fragrance options on the market, many people struggle to find a scent that feels true to them.
In this course you will be introduced to a range of high quality, organic essential oils, experience their incredible scents and discover their effects on health and wellbeing. We will look at the origins of the aromatic ingredients and how they are made into essential oils, giving you an understanding of how precious and potent they can be. You will feel confident to design and make your own unique perfume oil / aromatherapy blend, to take home.

The ingredients used in the workshops will be of the highest quality and organic where possible.

For beginners and the more experienced.
