Learn how to make a super warm and cosy blanket from jumbo wool at our Winter Arm Knitting Workshop. Using your arms rather than needles we will show you how to gently felt the wool prior to knitting, and how to knit with your arms! We've chosen 100% undyed British, Welsh and Icelandic wools for the ultimate in natural knitting.
This is the simplest and most satisfying form of giant knitting (also known as extreme knitting) you will get. With the scrummiest super sized yarn and just a few hours you will go home proud as punch with your blanket!
Please book before 2nd December to choose your colour. Bookings taken after this date will have a more limited colour choice. When booking please specify the colour wool you would like:
2. mid grey
4. dark brown-black

My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon at Larkswold learning how to make scented candles. Melinda and Emma, our hosts, could not have been more welcoming and Melinda, on discovering that the course was a 16th wedding anniversary present (the traditional gift being wax), presented us with a multi-layered candle to remind us of the day.
The course, besides being great fun, was extremely informative and we learnt a lot about the art of making scented candles ... some of which now have pride of place in our home. Our less successful efforts will be burnt in the not too distant future!!
Would we visit Larkswold again ... most certainly. They offer a number of other courses that interest us ... Glass Decorations, Lino Printing, Truffle Making, Silversmithing, Willow Sculpture, Wreath Making and Arm Knitting to name but a few.
Here's to our next visit.
Response from Larkswold:Thank you so much. It was lovely to meet you both.
