Annie Sloan Painting Techniques in the Lake District

View from the window

How to create a distressed finish, a wash, a sleek modern finish and a more textured ‘antique’ finish. By the end of the morning you will be confident in both painting with Chalk Paint and sealing with waxes, and you will have all the skills you need to start your own creative project. All techniques are practiced on a pine board which you will be able to take home with you for reference.

Our afternoon session will involve using Chalk Paint and decoupage to create two beautiful heart shaped hanging decorations, decorated to your taste. This is a really fun, creative session to have a play around and create some fabulous gifts. You will leave with two completely unique decorations, handmade by you and the skills to make more! Please wear casual clothing and bring an apron.
