About the Course
Join us down on the farm in the beautiful Meon Valley for a days printmaking. Our venue for the workshop and our Spring Creative Arts Week, will be our recently restored C18th thatched barn; with superb views over the South Downs it is a unique and inspiring location.
With over 25 years experience teaching and tutoring, artist Liz Wellby will guide you through designing, cutting and printing, enabling you to create your own single colour fine art prints.
We will begin the day with a short walk along the banks of the River Meon that runs close to the Long Barn, gaining ideas and inspiration for your prints. Alternatively you may wish to develop a design of your own choosing, by bringing along your own ideas or images on paper.
Please bring along: your wellies, a digital camera or iPad, an apron, A5/6 ideas or drawings that inspire you, an old magazine to transport your wet prints and a pencil case.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wishing to either refresh, or further develop their skills.
