About the Course
Morning and afternoon workshops for beginners between 10am-1pm & 2.30-5.30pm in Stockbridge Town Hall, Stockbridge.
What to expect:
The workshop will teach you the basic principles and terminology of weaving and you will create a small woven piece using a frame loom.
Spaces are limited to ensure you receive as much guidance as you need.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those that have a little experience and would like a refresher.
You will have the opportunity to buy your loom at the the end of the workshop.
About your tutor:
Ellie Fisher is a textile designer with a foundation in textiles from Winchester School of Art and a BA and MA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
With over 15 years of weaving experience she is passionate about sharing her love of textiles.

What's included in the price?
The workshop price includes 3 hours of guided tuition, use of the looms, a wide selection of materials and fibres including organic cotton, bamboo, flax and hemp.
Tea, coffee and home baked cake will be available all day.
The looms are available to buy at the the end of the workshop.
