Using cotton or calico fabrics, a vibrant range of fabric dyes and beeswax from the Cycle Cafe's own bee hives you will create your own pictures design under Caroline's careful guidance, which will be then coloured over in a number of stages using a wax resist.
No previous experience is necessary or drawing skills.
Starting with a simple outline provided she will explain about creating a wax resist and build up the layers of colour. Some lovely effect can be created and once you understand the rocess to can proceed to make further designs as time allows.

What's included in the price?
Welcome drinks : fresh coffee & home made biscuits, a lovely 2 course Aga lunch served in our farmhouse kitchen or outside in the Greystoke Cycle Cafe Tea Garden as soon as it's warm enough. To finish off the day, a freshly made Cream Tea (including Aga-baked scones, cream and jam).
Materials are charged extra depending on the amount produced, usually between £5 and £10
Our days are considered special treats; many come back time and time again and often combine it with a short break to the Lake District.
