Our Amigurumi Crochet class will teach you how to make an adorable, soft elephant. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting stuffed 3d creatures. The word can be broken down into 編み ami, meaning “crocheted or knitted” and 縫い包み nuigurumi meaning ” stuffed doll”. You’ll be guided by our highly-experienced tutor who will answer all of your questions.
You will learn how to:
- Work in single crochet
- Work in double crochet
- Crochet in the round and create a magic loop
- Create 3d shaping in crochet
- Stitch your crocheted pieces together
At the end of the sessions, you’ll have the skills you need to finish your Elephant. The stitches you will learn will give you the confidence to start your projects, and experiment with new ideas.
