Advanced sketching - people and crowds
X

Description

In this workshop we will capture both crowds on the streets of Edinburgh, and also close up portraits from within the Scottish Portrait Gallery.

Using ink and watercolour, and under the guidance of Mark Kirkham, the Edinburgh Sketcher, you will finish and mount two A4 pieces.

Places are limited to eight or under on this more advanced sketching workshop in order to provide more one-to-one tuition.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who has attended one of Mark's Introduction to speed-sketching workhops, or has previous experience of sketching. If you are unsure whether it is suitable for you. Please select 'chat with the maker' if you would like to get in touch.

Refunds are not available on this booking. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

The Arienas Collective workshops are run from a supportive and welcoming home environment in the Edinburgh New Town. Spaces are limited to allow our artists and designer-makers to offer hands-on help and support. All equipment is provided and all the materials you will need (unless stated otherwise). Just turn up, leave any day-to-day worries behind, and immerse yourself in creating something unique.

Refreshment breaks are an important part of The Arienas Collective experiences. They are a time to socialise, make new friends and chat to the artists and designer-makers. We are fortunate to have a fantastic range of independent shops and producers nearby and are proud to feature locally sourced food and drinks.

The price includes all materials and refreshments, and of course you get to take home all the unique products you have created.

All our workshops are also available to book as a private groups. Please select 'chat with the maker' if you would like to get in touch.
