About the Course

Discover how portraiture evolved from the idealised human form of Classical Greek sculpture, to the powerfully expressive anti naturalism of Picasso's portraits. There will be a particular focus on Renaissance portraits, and on Rembrandt's highly personal and experimental journey as a self-portraitist.
