About the Course
This class is a natural progression from a Silver Clay Taster or Beginners workshop whether you’ve completed it at West Country Creative or elsewhere and runs over a day and a half.
The workshop will start with an introduction to 3D design considerations and the opportunities that silver clay gives you for adding amazing detail and features within your charm.
You will make every aspect of your three dimensional piece. You can choose the shape, surface finishes both inside and out, learning and developing your skills with complex construction techniques as you go. You will also have the chance to add additional decorative silver elements if you wish before refining your piece at the end of the first day.
Having been fired overnight, the shorter session on day two will be spent reviewing the techniques learnt, Qs&As, polishing your piece and adding an optional patina if you wish.
The course dates shown are the first day of the course. Your workshop will finish around midday the following day.
This workshop is suitable for those aged 16+.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
