Workshops - I offer three different types of stained glass workshop:
Tiffany Style/Copper Foil method
This refers to stained glass work in the style of Louis Comfort Tiffany where each piece of glass is wrapped in copper foil before being soldered together. This method is generally used for making gifts and smaller pieces such as sun-catchers.
Stained Glass Mosaics
This is the process of creating a design or pattern using small pieces of stained glass adhered to either a mirror, glass sheet, vase or wooden shape.

I have done three courses with Gigha, a 2 day garden panels workshop, a one day bunting & a one day lead panels workshop. I can't get enough! Highly recommended. Gigha's workshops are informative and good fun. You leave with new skills and your creation/s have had a day where everything else in your life is temporarily forgotten while you are engrossed in putting your new skills into action.

Thanks to Gigha for the help and encouragement on her leaded light window course. There was a lot to fit into the day and luckily we could overrun on time as some of us took longer than others, but you stayed calm and tried to help as much as possible.
We were also very well looked after by your helper who cheerfully provided us with refreshments throughout the day and was very encouraging too!
A very enjoyable day!

I have now been on two of Gigha's courses - one for Tiffany glass making Christmas decorations and the other for stained glass lead panels. Both days were brilliant, I learnt new skills on each day, found it to be a challenge but enjoyable. Gigha's instruction is excellent - she's very experienced with stained glass and has a really nice way of teaching people. The lunch is good too and the location is beautiful. Thanks Gigha, I will hopefully be back!
