On this two day workshop you will gain confidence in your pastel painting skills. Workshops develop in an un-hurried, relaxing way to enable you to develop your own style.
We will cover choosing the reference photographs and the different types of pastels, papers and other materials and accessories used in pastel painting. How to apply, blend and detail using pastel blocks, pencils and chalks.
1. Studying your subject and choosing the right colours

4. Detailing eyes and other facial features
5. Fur or feather detail and how to achieve a realistic look

What's included in the price?
All materials are included in the cost of the workshop together with plenty of tea, coffee and soft drinks and a light lunch. Special dietary requirements are catered for.
You are very welcome to bring a camera and take lots of photographs of my very obliging donkeys, ponies, goats and chickens for reference material!
