About the Course

1-1 Private Lessons: morning, afternoon or weekends will include your choice of technique ie. mono printing, collage, acrylic painting.

Workshops: for up to 6 people will be half day.

Mono printing and Collage is an ideal introduction to become involved in making ‘art’. It is an enjoyable and exciting way to create a masterpiece to take home and be proud of. This fun class is designed for those with no drawing and painting skills, those who wish to develop their basic skills or those who would like to try a new technique.

There is a magic to this process, the final result is often an unexpected surprise, sometimes developed by accident. There will be an opportunity to see a short demonstration on the technique; there will also be a handout to keep and recap. Learn a little about prominent artists that have used this technique within their work and finally experiment with techniques that will culminate in producing your own artistically created mono print.

Acrylic painting is also an exciting technique to do. It can be used in several ways to create a variety of textures and effects. A fun and easy technique to experiment with which encourages a students personal style.

I am passionate about art and textile art and love to try and get the best out of others towards their self satisfaction. I have a 2-1 BA Art and Design Degree and Stage 3 in Textiles.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Tools and equipment will be provided but students are asked to provide their own protective apron, sketchbook and pens for you own personal use for the day.

If you already have hand tools such as roller and Perspex then you are welcome to bring these too. Additional perspex will be available to purchase on the day if required.

Tea and coffee will be provided to keep you going through out the day and coffee shops and bakeries are close by.

The Venue is in Worcester - not in the town - so buses, trains and car parks are close by.
