1-to-1 Dressmaking Course: Make a 1950's style prom dress to measure (10 hours spread in 5 sessions) All materials included

50's prom dress sample

Make a 1950's style prom dress from scratch to measure. Learn how to take measurements to choose the right size pattern, alter it, cut the dress out making the best of the fabric, serge and sew it from beginning to end and fit it properly.

This dress has a fully lined corseted top with boning, a concealed side zip and a semi-circular skirt, so it is the perfect ad-on to your basic class! But even if you are a total beginner, I encourage you to have a go, as you won't regret it. These are skills for life, whether you just want to alter clothes, to making them from scratch, and no matter whether you are just a sewing hobbyist or a professional fashion designer, I cater for both.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 8 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

Everything included (patterns, fabrics and haberdashery, tools, sewing machines) and my lovely art studio, where I make my creations and where the magic happens!
