My partner and I went on this course as absolute beginners and had a really enjoyable day. We were both really proud of the piece of Tiffany glass we had produced at the end of the day and now have them displayed in our home. Julie explained and demonstrated everything so well and knew exactly how to pace the day to develop your confidence. She was so patient and encouraging, really showing that enthusiasm rather than skill could achieve results. The setting was beautiful, with lots to do in the area, so the course could easily slot into a holiday in this lovely part of Wales. We're hoping to return soon for a three day course to tackle a bigger project.

My friend and I attended the Tiffany glass taster workshop. It was a really enjoyable experience, with Julie explaining every step (vital for us complete beginners) from start to finish. We went home feeling very proud of our little boats! I'd be happy to recommend this workshop to anyone, and we will definitely be back for more.

4 of us had an amazing day, learning a new skill (to us) of tiffany glass making.
Julie was very supportive and encouraging to us all and we went away proud owners of our beautiful panels.
A fantastic way to celebrate a birthday, such a pity we live so far away so we can't book more time with Julie.
Friendly, informative, lovely lunch too. Many thanks

I am so thrilled with my Tiffany sunburst that I made under the excellent tuition by Julie. We were taught all the skills we needed to make and finished a design to take home with us. Cutting glass, grinding, soldering... A really friendly and relaxing day course. I want to have another go!!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself on the one-day tiffany workshop. Julie was very clear in her instruction and extremely helpful. She also provided a wonderful lunch. Going home with a piece of tiffany glass to hang in my conservatory window made me very happy indeed. I would highly recommend this course.

We had a really great day with Julie making our stained glass panels. It's quite demanding because there are several completely new skills to learn but very absorbing and interesting. Julie was there to help and advise whenever needed but there was the opportunity to make a really personal piece of art. I enjoyed myself immensely and came home with a piece I am very happy with and now have hanging in my window for all to admire. The lunch was delicious, the workroom very comfortable and Julie is lovely and very interesting. Thank you!5

I have just spent the day by Bala Lake on Julie's stained glass workshop and the whole experience was amazing. I've come home with a piece of original glass art and am absolutely thrilled with it and would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone.
Thank you Julie.

Really enjoyed this one day workshop. We learnt all the skills required to produce our first stained glass panel, and very interesting it was too! Julie is an excellent teacher and we also had fun. The workshop has lovely views of Bala lake and Julie served us lunch and cups of tea as needed. I would definitely recommend this course.

I have spent several days working on stained glass projects under Julie's expert guidance. Having started with a relatively simple project on my first visit, I then moved on to making a variety of Christmas decorations, and finally my biggest project, a nativity set. Throughout Julie has provided expert tuition, demonstrated the processes, praised when things have gone well, and helped to put right what I managed to get wrong in spite of all her advice !!
I have learnt so many new skills and enjoyed every minute of it; if I lived closer to Bala I would be there more often!

Spent a lovely day with Julie on the Stained Glass course.
Her advice and knowledge really helped my indecisiveness on what colours to choose. She really helped me create a lovely piece of stained glass to be proud of. I wasn't expecting to have such a good time or make something as nice as I did. The day exceeded my expectations and I will definitely go back for more!

Having previously enjoyed a taster session with Julie I rebooked for a 3 day event with a friend.
Julie readily accommodated my over ambitious desire to re create the ruins of Denbigh Castle in glass and into a clock .
She patiently and with good humour took me through all the processes step by step .
From putting together a template ,choosing the glass ,cutting ,grinding ,copper foil and soldering every process was a challenge ,a new skill but also good fun .
Each day a hearty lunch was included and very welcome !
We also benefited from a lovely view of the lake ,many visiting birds and lovely friendly sheep and their lambs .
Loved every minute and have booked to go back for more !
Poor Julie :)

I spent a great day with Julie yesterday on her Tiffany Stained Glass Course. I was amazed at how nervous I was initially at handling the glass but the fears soon diminished once I received reassuring words and I got on with the task in hand. We initially practiced marking and breaking the glass of different thicknesses and Julie had different types of hand tools to suit every obstacle i.e., problems with holding tools etc.,. She had ideas for designs for us and a box full of wonderful glass for us to choose from. It was great choosing colours and textures that would look stunning as a finished piece. We worked on our chosen design throughout the day with a stop for lunch with a view over Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid). We learnt the different techniques involved and at the end of the day had made a gorgeous piece of Tiffany Glass - Mine had mountains, sunshine and a lake. A great day and a course I would like to follow again in order to develop my skills.
