Having attended the introductory 1-day course I recently attended a further 2-day course which extended my knowledge and enabled me to use different materials including glass paints and stringers and well as learning about kiln carving. I was again amazed how many projects you are able to complete during Deborah's courses. Lots of useful advice is given including how to obtain and set up a kiln. The other highlight of a course at The Silver Zebra is the excellent lunch. Hope to come back in the future.

This was a fabulous introduction for a beginner with lots of information about materials and techniques provided. Deborah is encouraging and helpful and the templates and ideas given help you to make the most of the day. I can see why people get addicted to this craft! There is a lovely lunch provided as well as tea and coffee as required. Thanks very much to Deborah at the Silver Zebra for sharing her skills, experience and enthusiasm.

AMAZING!!!!! We enlisted on Deborah's 3 Day Fused glass Course as complete beginners not knowing anything about glass at all. We made 7 what I would call substantial projects as well as 11 smaller but fun projects and came away with a broad view on what Fused Glass is. We were greeted well and absolutely spoiled with amazing lunches! Deborah's wonderful Farm is also a bit of a bonus to see with their cows & chickens.
The course was an absolute treat and we are already planning to return for the Next Step Course.

I have been twice now and I'm hoping after hinting to my husband for Christmas to go back again but for the 3 day course :) Having attended other classes I can honestly say that this is the best value for your money with no limitation to materials. The lunches are amazing and are worth going back for alone! Fab location, great tuition with a friendly welcome. On the last 2 occassions I made 3 main projects and about 6 little fun pieces in total.

Super course and tutor, we learnt much more than expected and we even had time to make a few extra projects at the end. Lunches and cakes are worth going back for alone and the location is so relaxing [we loved seeing the cows and calves]
Deborah is a very patient tutor full of knowledge and she made us feel relaxed and welcome in her amazing studio. We had completed a day course with someone else but felt they didnt have the experience needed. Deborah can answer every question and teaches on a practical level we all felt comfortable with but enough theory so we knew what we were doing!
All in all we would be happy to return and we would recommend to anyone of any level.
Thank you for a super day out - we will be back :)

Really great course and value for money. Deborah is a really engaging tutor and expert in her field. Met some really interesting people and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the whole day. Can't believe we made 6 items and can't wait to see how they have turned out.
You don't have to know anything about fused glass before hand but I did a little research on what kind of fused glass I liked. Future projects?!
It isn't technical or mind blowingly difficult just a way of expressing your creativity with some simple techniques and in a very interesting medium. I think I'd like to know more about the glass. A chat with your dad may suffice!
I've already recommended it to some of my friends, was posting on Facebook my before creations so I may be back.
Can't recommend it enough. And thank you for a lovely lunch. Your mum's home made scones with cream and strawberries were fab!

Have just got back from an amazing day spent with Deborah at her workshop. I attended the one day course on " The introduction to Fused Glass" along with 8 others, some had a pretty good idea what was going on but some were like me a total novice. I have to admit attending on my own was very daunting and I did feel quite apprehensive but within 10 minutes of the class starting I settled and became totally engrossed in all that was being taught.
Deborah is a excellent teacher who guides you through the techniques of fused glass and then let's you loose to design your own master pieces.
The facilities are great with constant tea, coffee and water available all day and the lunch was lovely.
Thank you Deborah for a wonderful experience.

The 3 day courses are well structured. A good pace and adapted to suit the students as you to along.
Deborah is supportive and helpful but also asks you, as the student , to build on your own knowledge using what you have been taught previously.
We also had fun, relaxed and were given super lunches. A good time was had by all!

I have really enjoyed Deborah's courses. The one day course is a good introduction: you learn a lot while having good fun. I've since been back to do the 3 day course, and intend to do another soon.

Deborah's courses are both informative and great fun. Her sense of creativity is replicated in her enthusiasm and her drive to ensure that all students make the most of their time with her. I came to her courses as a pure beginner and have now with her energetic encouragement, designed and created my own glass splashback for a new kitchen and am just hooked on the breadth of work that can be achieved in glass fusion! She is an inspiration.

I can highly recommend Deborah Moses fused glass courses. Regardless of your artistic ability and experience Deborah is a great teacher and helps you make the most of your day in her workshop by giving you enough of the basics to allow you to then create your own designs. I first attended a one day course but had such an interesting, enjoyable day that I've been back for more sessions since having received some of Deborah's gift vouchers for my birthday and xmas presents. Whether you want to have a go creating fused glass yourself or you are looking for a unique gift for someone else I can highly recommend a course with Deborah. Her workshop is in a lovely location and you get to enjoy a farmhouse lunch too.
