"I had an amazing Session with Kim. I have never done this before and she was excellent at giving me careful instructions and guidance. I really got into it and really enjoyed my session. I managed to make around 16 beads and walked away with 5 pairs of earrings, a bracelet, key ring and a book mark. Kim was friendly and made the session enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone. I had an awesome day and will book again in the future."

"What a brilliant afternoon! I booked this course at the last minute, just for myself because I was feeling the January blues, and was looking for a distraction. Couldn't have picked anything better! Kim is a wonderful teacher, patient and full of good humour. She is very generous with her time and advice, and with the materials. I managed to make loads of lovely glass beads, and Kim helped me to make a beautiful bead bracelet as well. I can’t recommend this course enough; I had a great time! (And my January blues are gone 😊)"

"We had THE best afternoon with Kim! What a fantastic thing to do and she’s a great teacher, we made 7 beads each and then got to create our own jewellery/bookmarks and bag charms with our handiwork and other sparkles and beautiful beads that Kim had made earlier… and we were spoilt with sweet treats, crisps drinks and nibbles as we were working! I can’t recommend enough! One of my friends couldn’t make it at the last minute and Kim went out of her way to send her a goody bag and ask after her. We were enjoying ourselves so much we totally lost track of time. A huge thank you for a very special experience Kim, we will definitely be back if you’d have us!? x"

"Fantastic experience! It's a difficult skill to get the hang of, but with expert and patient tutelage, we came away with a beautiful selection of beads. "Liz and I spent an enjoyable afternoon (in March) with Kim, Liz learning to make beads and although I didn't make beads (my eyesight problem not Kim's fault) I did have a lovely discussion about machine embroidery - which prompted me to upgrade mine. Kim was very helpful in recommending a great Embroidery machine shop and alerting me that the prices of the machines were about to go up (I ordered with a day to spare, that saved me £600!). I was generously given free reign to make jewellery pieces from Kim's stash. Liz has now bought her own kit with the view to starting a small business. We would both highly recommend Kim courses."

"I had a really enjoyable session with Kim. She is an excellent teacher, calm and inspires confidence. Making the beads was not as hard as I'd imagined and Kim gave me help if I needed it but let me just get on and experiment and learn too. After making the beads we then put them together making a necklace and a key ring in my case. I was so pleased with the results."

"I spent a wonderful afternoon yesterday making glass beads and jewellery/accessories with my two friends from university. From the moment we stepped in the door, Kim was so welcoming and so very generous with her time and knowledge; she’s a truly fantastic teacher. The girls and I only meet up a few times a year and we like to choose a creative activity to occupy us - we’ve done plenty of crafts together over the years, but were all complete beginners to lampwork. Yet with Kim’s expert tuition, all three of us created 6 beautifully different (and pretty round!) glass beads each, which we then turned into a variety of bookmarks, keyrings and bracelets. We’ll definitely be back for embroidery round two! xx"
