This two day course is an introduction to sculpting and casting with Jesmonite. A versatile material formed from an acrylic-modified gypsum composite. A safe alternative to fibreglass and as a lightweight alternative to cast concrete.
This two day course will explore the different applications of Jesmonite. Working with thixotrope, retardant and quadaxical glass. Participants will have the opportunity to work with Jesmonite hands on, constructing simple shapes through three basic forms of mould making.
