In this class you will have an introduction to Collagraph printing, the wonderful technique of building a plate from textures. You will learn the technique in a relaxed atmosphere and go away with a set of lovely prints. We will experiment with printing on both paper and fabric, both of which can be used for a multitude of projects at a later date.

We will introduce you to the mono printing process, you will learn how to create your first mono print, as well as show you how to use our printing press. There will be two members of our team to help. Mono printing is a fun way to experiment with mark making with different tools. The out come will always be a surprise!
Learn the collagraph printmaking process, using pieces of litter collected from rural Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Create textured prints using a hand operated roller press, then combine your collagraphs with hand drawn or painted detail, or take them home as is.
Monoprinting using a Gelli Plate is simple and fun without the need for a printing press. The gratification is immediate, each print is truly unique.
During this workshop you will explore a variety of Gelli Plate Printing techniques. You will experiment with layering colour and texture using stencils and masking techniques. You will leave this workshop having produced a variety of prints that stand alone or can be developed further in mixed media projects.
In this workshop we will cover the basics of lino cutting and printing, you will learn new skills, have fun, meet like-minded crafters, eat cake and go home with your own unique printed gift wrap, cards and tags.
