I'll spend the first hour guiding you through the basic skills of choosing materials, measuring and preparing the leather all the while teaching you something of the rich history of saddlery. The rest of your time will be spent making your own beautiful collar or lead, finishing it and embossing a name or phone number if you want.

Saddlery workshop days can be tailored around what you want to make. They are designed for you to learn saddlery and leather craft skills from a qualified saddler. I will teach you how to choose, prepare and make your project, be it a belt, dog accessories, machining, keyrings, even repairing your own saddlery or leather goods. The course can be flexible and run weekly, monthly, daily, for whatever your needs. I can be flexible with timings and broadly the cost will be £15 per hour plus materials.
