Make your own scatter cushion in the surroundings of the inspiring Edwardian cotton mill. Learn how to sew the cushion with me, including adding a zip and button detail. Choose a feather filled or fibre insert. All fabrics included, choose from patterns and plains. Take home your scatter cushion to put in pride of place in your home.

The ottoman, a large footstool can also double up as a coffee table. Students on the course will learn traditional and modern upholstery skills, including slip stitching and making the buttons. Paint techniques are also taught using Reloved vintage paints.
I am City & Guilds trained and qualified in Soft Furnishing Making and will teach you step by step to make your own soft furnishings to a professional standard. I also hold level 3 Award in Education & Training for Adults.
