Create a pinned heart. A craft that dates back to WW1 when the solders would recuperate and heal following injury and then send home to their loved ones to remind them they were thinking of their families. The heart is made of calico and filled with sand and then beautifully decorated with fabrics, ribbons, pins and beads. Materials fee - £10 on the day.
