This course is a brief introduction to kiln-formed glass. We start with learning to cut glass, and then progress onto making a small drinks coaster, light-catcher or small picture using either cut glass or glass frits and powders, and perhaps paints. We cover the basics of fusing and touch on the design principles for glass. The glass is fused in the kiln for 24 hours and can be collected later the same week. You also get a brief introduced to various cutting, grinding and polishing machines and materials.
