Felt Making Classes Felting is the process of fusing wool fibres (pre-spinning stage) together to create felt, which has numerous properties as well as being very versatile to use. I teach a range of needle felting techniques for embellishment or to create beads, 3D shapes, animals and felted pictures. Wet felting is also covered including making flat felt, and hollow things such as bags that doesn't need stitching, Ipad covers, tea cosies...the list goes on....
Suitable for beginners, you'll learn how how to create your own bowl or pod by wet felting wool using the resist technique. Beautiful and strong felted pots and bowls can be made and later decorated using this method of wet-felting. One to one workshop or groups welcome.
Suitable for beginners. Make your own felted landscape painting using Merino wool and other fibres. I supply all the materials you'll need and instruction to make your felted 'painting'.
