These classes are designed to be a fun way to get into or even back into the practice of drawing from life - one of the fundamental cornerstones of all artistic practice....
A comprehensive 8-week pottery course, during which, you will be guided through every step involved in making a finished ceramic piece – from wedging clay to applying glazes. We will cover some fundamental theory and focus on practicing various techniques for both throwing on the wheel and handbuilding. The course is suitable for adults who are starting out on their clay journey as well as intermediate makers who would like to improve their skills.
This 8 week course will be teaching you how to achieve more emotion in your work. Closely looking at how colour theory is used to create a desired mood. Learning how to see values and making them work for you. A real insight into the importance of structure, light, and pigments. How they affect each other.

Join this 8 week creative writing evening course in Henley on Thames. This course is designed for new and aspiring writers seeking inspiration and guidance on getting started.
Over the course of eight weeks, we will look at both poetry and fiction and think about the elements required to write creatively. Providing gentle feedback, each class will give budding writers the chance to explore their ideas and build the confidence to find their own voice.

Martin is a professionally qualified teacher with many year’s experience of teaching stained glass classes.
Martin runs courses throughout the year; all courses are run with a maximum of twelve students ensuring that each student receives individual attention. Each student has use of a workbench with all the tools and equipment they will need while taking part in the course.

All levels from beginner to experienced are very welcome at the studio. We teach various aspects of ceramics from hand building, sculpture, throwing on the wheel, and a range of decorating and glazing techniques. This is to ensure that everybody is able to experience all methods and will be rewarded by taking some beautifully hand-built and designed pieces away with them at the end of the course.
