Dressmaking and tailoring courses, classes and workshops taught all across the UK. Learn the techniques of making clothes: designing and creating your own bespoke garments is a great skill. Most of us don't wear custom made clothing (at least not everyday) but how nice to achieve that perfect fit, with just the style, colour and texture to suit you. A dress maker usually specialises in womenswear whereas a tailor will concentrate more on formal attire (for both men and women). The tools of your trade will be thread, a tape measure, tailor's chalk, dressmaking pins, a few hand-sewing needles and a good pair of dress-making scissors. Browse these dressmaking and tailoring courses around the UK and start an enjoyable as well as useful hobby, pastime or career!
