Pottery and ceramics courses, classes and workshops are taught all across the UK. Want to learn the art of making pots or ceramics pieces? Learn the techniques from experienced potters and ceramicists. Generally speaking, pottery and ceramics courses include shaping, glazing and firing a piece of clay. You may also learn about different types of pottery, such as earthenware, porcelain and stoneware. The opportunity to use a pottery wheel and throw pots, as well as learn the basic principles of clay modelling or how to design and make a ceramic mosaic may be included.
This is a 2.5 hour throwing lesson on a potter’s wheel. The lesson will be tailored to the specific requests of the student/s and caters for complete beginner upwards.
This lesson is ideal for anyone wanting to try out throwing on a potter's wheel with friends or individually.
