Maïté Chailleux is 24 years old and from France. Passionate and graduated in restoration of furniture and objects of art, she wishes to complete an EVS project (European Voluntary Service) in patrimony preservation.
EVS is a program open to young people aged from 17 to 30 that encourages volunteering for between 2 weeks and 12 months maximum in another country in the European Union.
Potential hosts would be a non-profit organizations (museums, associations, national organizations ...) in the field of restoration and conservation of heritage where she can be involved in a project. Fields of interest would be restoration, knowledge sharing, showcasing heritage preservation, raising awareness of conservation and learning more about related jobs...
The search begins now for a place where she could work in 2017. The host organisation must obtain accreditation from the Erasmus Program in order to validate the project. For more information about this, follow this link.
