Our willow weaving courses are an ideal place to start to learn willow weaving. On your first day you will be taught all the basics and shown different techniques to enable you to make simple willow baskets and decorative items. You should be able to go home on the first day with a completed basket or a couple of smaller decorative items.
Here at Faerie-thyme we grow a lot of our own willow, and you will have the opportunity to have a wander round the site during the day. This is a 3 acre smallholding in a very beautiful part of Wales.
You can also book to stay, as we have a small secluded campsite here. Courses are run throughout the year in our garden room, and when its chilly the log burner is always alight, which means the kettle is always on.
Course numbers are limited to 6 people to give me plenty of time to show everyone all the different ways of creating beautiful willow work.
