"Great value for money course and a great teacher. Was willing to work with me and make the course relevant to my needs and desire to do welding work on my van. Highly knowledgeable and very experienced. Went out of the way to show me what to do and did not rush the learning - but also did not hold back on pushing me to do better either - best of both worlds. I'd genuinely recommend this course to anyone looking to learn welding. Probably would get more hands on experience doing this than a "Pro Welding" Course. "This course exceeded my expectations by far. Julian is an excellent tutor and definitely knows his craft. Great discussions throughout the day with more than enough "hands-on". Because my engineering apprenticeship was in aircraft engineering we were never taught to weld. I have taught myself over the years to basically "stick" metal together (badly) but managed to get by. After spending the day with Julian I now have a good understanding of the "science" behind what happens when we weld. Plus the practical skills to carry out the task and how to adjust the technique for different orientations. I strongly recommend this course to anyone seeking a condensed course that will end with the ability to do basic fabrication or vehicle repair. I'm sure now all I need is to practice what I've learned to perfect my techniques. Thanks for a great day. I'm sure once I've had some practice I'll be booking another course with Julian to further upskill. "

"This was a fantastic course; I've been interested in learning to weld for a while and this course covered everything one would need. I was primarily interested in MiG welding but Julian was extremely experienced and knowledgeable of the other varieties, and explained all their applications. The different welding techniques were covered with lots of hands on practice and examples of when it would be appropriate to use each one. I left wanting to do more at home!"
