Description

Forget the idea of blacksmithing being big, sweaty men beating lumps of hot steel with large hammers. Forged steel can be as light and delicate or as substantial as you wish. It is a wonderful media with which to work, it can be bent, twisted, tapered, split, punched etc. Learn these basic techniques then combine them to produce your hand crafted piece, your imagination is your limit. Courses are suitable for those of an artistic nature or anyone just wanting to try their hand at a new craft. Engineers or mechanics might wish to add an extra skill.
